March 30, 201510 yr There's one in Gilded Vale that you can recruit after resting at the inn and going to investigate the tree. He's right next to the ruins. You could also hire an adventurer in the inn if you need some more help.
March 30, 201510 yr Rest in the Gilded Vale inn, follow the quest then speak to Eder next to the three. Next head to Magran's crossing, follow the road and you'll find another NPC by a statue. If you don't mind being gamey you could now sneak all the way to Caed Nua and pick up the chanter just outside the keep as well.

March 31, 201510 yr Yeah, fights got a lot better after running with a full party. You'll probably find some trouble messing with Caed Nua too.
