Disable pet names when you have highlighted interactables on? I like having it always on, but also having that big pet tag is kinda annoying.

I don't know of any way to do this currently, I but hope they will remove the display of the name in a future patch.  It was too annoying for me so I had to stop using a pet (it affects them all).  Not a loss that impacts my ability to play the game, I know, but party member names are not displayed in that situation so I would think it would be possible to fix.

Why would you play without the IE mod installed? That's just.. weird.

 

I agree that in the base game, the fact that the nametabs show up for pets is annoying (but not nearly as annoying as the fact that the nametabs look awful if you adjust the font sizes; I reported it as a bug during the backer beta, but nothing was done). But with the IE mod, the excessive tabs disappear completely.

Yep, that's what I did too. Those nametags are quite annoying, especially in combat. Shame, I really like pets.
