How do you take a screenshot of this game?  prtscrn doesn't seem to do anything.  Are people FRAPSing these?

Prtsrrn surely does work. You then open up paint and ctrl-v.

 

Or if youre running the game through steam, you can use steam's built in screenshot function, default key is F12. You also get free online storage for those through your steam cloud.

And here I honestly believed everyone's first character will be a cipher!

The builds in this topic are so much more helpful than the builds in the strategy guide. The guide is just super min-max builds. I don't mind if other players are min-maxing, but I had expected to also find tips for more balanced builds in the guide.

 

I would post my first character, but I am still trying out different builds and classes. It will probably be a Wild Orlan Ranger, based on speed and interrupts.

Sorry, I only have a save game from 8 hours in, so not exactly 'fresh out of the gate', but here's Lascielle, Pale Elf Ranger, a drifter from the White That Wends

 

Fairly standard Wizard. Trying to go for a hint of Sparrowhawk, from Tales from Earthsea. But just a little ;p

 

Wizard explorer, being led by an unknown force / intrigue. I guess.

 

 

You're fairly limited in the way of visually customizing your character's features, etc, but I did try to make him look as much like the portrait as I could =)
