Nah, its out of date and everything has been on the wiki for a long time anyway...

Better off watching Sensukis videos and reading in game help. The manual is very outdated. 

I only read the classes section. I have resisted reading anything about this game at all up until now and Im gonna play it blindly on hard difficulty.

 

Should I also turn off the hints? I read thats also an option in the manual.

If you like punishment then yeah, sure. This is a game that rewards knowledge and understanding of the mechanics though. Figuring them out by trial and error is not my idea of fun, but YMMV as always.
