I am just wondering how large of a file the game will be on the day I have to download it. Sadly there doesn't seem to be any option to pre-install it, so knowing how long I will have to wait on the 26th before I can play will be nice.

I do believe Pre-loading is an option.

14 GB are required according to Steam.

Does steam give this option? If so I can't seem to do it.

How do you know this? We were told by Obsidian there was going to be pre-loading. There is no pre-loading yet but they have not even handed out the keys to the backers yet.

From memory Steam pre-installs often don't become an option to click on until a few/a couple of days before release, anyway, so don't panic. If they're handing the keys out on Monday-Tuesday like a few threads say, that's probably when pre-loading will be activated.

It's 14.4 Size on Disk (13.4GB displayed in windows), but the day 1 patch will add on top of that.

They have already confirmed that they plan to have a pre-load on steam. Not sure when it will start though.

well that's not so bad I can live with 15Gigs, It looks worth it anyways.
