February 25, 201510 yr Author Hehe, do you miss Icewind Dale? I'll admit, there is some nostalgia in snowy scenes! I'm always lured to good-looking snow in games. Snow feels comforting and serene. And the potential for gorgeous snow-experiences in PoT's 2D-art environments is massive.
February 25, 201510 yr There is a snowy region in the game world called "The White That Wends". Basically the south pole of the world. If all goes well with PoE, I'm pretty sure we'll go there some day for some olde schoole Icewind Dale-y times. Even if it's just for an expansion. Nothing gold can stay.
February 25, 201510 yr Snow tellin', really. 6_u I hope so, though. I love icy environments in games. I do not know why. Should we not start with some Ipelagos, or at least some Greater Ipelagos, before tackling a named Arch Ipelago? 6_u
February 26, 201510 yr Durgan's Battery is in the mountains, in White March. If we happen to visit that location at some point (it's a legendary location that they must have written for a reason) it might be at a high enough elevation for snow.
