Some abilities cause Infinite spell castings and effects, even while paused. I've noticed this from the cowled Dward and from my own priest casting Interdiction. 

 

I'm guessing you've noticed, but just in case...

Yes I've seen this as well, causes the game to lag like crazy as well.

Add another to the list of people that have seen this happen.

The following video shows it at 2:14 when the Cowled Dwarf casts Blessing.

I encountered it twice at once. An Ivory Spinner and a druid shapeshift.

Stilll occuring in 480

Steps to reproduce? I saw it once in v392 or v435, don't recall

 

Some more info would be good - like what talents, stats, items etc did you have, is it the BB Priest, a hired priest ? etc

I have no idea how to reproduce. It doesn't happen that often. I've seen it from a variety of classes and spells, including NPCs. Though they do all seem to be AOE. 

Okay, what characters are you casting the spells on?

I have seen it with Interdiction before, but it would be about 1/40 uses or something. If you can give me some more info I will try and hunt the cause down.

Yah it only happens once or twice through playthrough. 

 

The ones I can recall off the top of my head are hired priest Interdiction, hired druid charm beasts, and the cowled Dwarf's Blessing from Medrath's party. I've never seen a non-aoe version but someone above reported it with spiritshift.

Alright, I'll try hiring some adventurers and see if I can reproduce it.
