November 27, 201411 yr I get that playing with no armor is a legit play style, but I want my armor-less characters to at least have some clothes to preserve their dignity. Are these in the game/beta and I'm missing them, or are naked dps characters actually going to be common? Edited November 27, 201411 yr by Namutree "Good thing I don't heal my characters or they'd be really hurt." Is not something I should ever be thinking. I use blue text when I'm being sarcastic.
November 27, 201411 yr Yeah, there is regular clothing in the game (and the beta). I've built some characters that started out with them, which I think is based on both a combination of class and culture choices.
November 27, 201411 yr There are regular clothes however since loot is not WYSIWYG, people don't drop any.
November 27, 201411 yr There are regular clothes however since loot is not WYSIWYG, people don't drop any. Diddums. But yeah, the shops should have some basic clothing in as standard. Not a dress shop, but 1-3 (or even just one) sets of clothes/robes in any appropriate shop. November 27, 201411 yr You get some ratty clothes when making a Cipher (when selecting one of the cultures). Non enchantable.
November 27, 201411 yr If you make a monk from Ixamitl Plains the stuff he is wearing could be considered normal (but exotic) clothes. Edited November 27, 201411 yr by Doppelschwert
November 27, 201411 yr From the day they first revealed character models in screen shots (I remember hats), I was looking forward to killing NPCs if only just to strip them of their epic looking clothes. Looks like it's not going to happen. "What if a mid-life crisis is just getting halfway through the game and realising you put all your points into the wrong skill tree?"
