Fighting games!

I still play Tekken with friends.  We rotate fighting games.  I want a Capcom vs SNK 3, though.

I used to be a big fan. Killer Instinct, Soul Calibur 2, Mace: The Dark Age, and Bushido Blade 1 and 2 were my favorites. Haven't played a lot since the fun part was playing with friends and passing the controller around whenever you lost, and I don't hang with friends so much since the kids were born. Hence all my favorites being 10 years old. I snagged Soul Calibur 4 when I first got my PS3, but it wasn't nearly as good as 2.

Killer Instinct was a favorite of mine at the time... I went as Eye-dol for one Halloween; had a blast.

 

 

Being in it, I couldn't take a good picture of it, and it was a bit messed up by then.

The costume stood aproximately 8'; the club doubled as a walking stick.

Both arms and both legs ~and both heads moved independantly and freaked a lot of people out, but it was just me in the suit.

(The left head was an articulated puppet with moving eyes and jaw. A sharp observer could have noticed that the left head and

left arm never moved at exactly the same time.)

 

 

I think of all the Fighter games I played... KI stood out as the favorite; Mortal combat 1 as the second favorite.

Tekken was impressive ~for the animation, but blocky graphics were just a bit too blocky.

I mostly liked KI for Saberwolf. Then he got banned whenever we played hecause he was basically an "I Win" button.

 

My friends wouldn't let me play as Nightmare in SC2 either, for some reason none of them could beat me. So I used Siegfried instead because he had the same move set. wasn't long before I wasn't allowed to use him either. Could never figure anyone else out as well as I did them.

I always played as Nightmare in Soul Caliber 2 as was well.

 

I'm guessing your friends couldn't handle Nightmare's horizontal trips.

The French dude in SC2 could dominate if you spammed some attack that would knock people down.
