Grimo88 Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 (edited) Having completed all the content, I want to ask Obsidian whether the choices made in the beta, if implemented in the complete game, will have lasting effects. If we let the Vithrak go, do we encounter it and its colony later in the plot? If we convince the ogre to leave, will we encounter him downriver later? If we allow Aelys (spelling?) to go free to carry out the Skaenite's plot, will we watch the fall of House Harond? I suppose what I am asking is, do these fantastic moral choices (there are some classic, nailbiting ones here, as I have come to expect of a post-NV Obsidian) cause a ripple effect in later parts of the game? BLnoT Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 I am under the impression that yes you would. Which i think is great. Possibly making future quests/enemies/allies/stronghold npcs etc However i would wait for someone who actually knows to reply. ( i don't know much ) Build a man a fire, and he will be warm for a day... Set a man on fire and he will be warm the rest of his life...
PrimeJunta Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 I'd be sorely disappointed if they have no repercussions. I especially liked that there were three(!) choices in this small slice which certainly ought to make a difference. I have a project. It's a tabletop RPG. It's free. It's a work in progress.
