DnaCowboy Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 (edited) I would prefer 360 camera rotation the entire time as I have had so many issues trying to explore areas,; however, in relation to combat it is far too 'busy' atm, we definitely need the ability to rotate the camera around our party otherwise battle is far too cluttered. Sarex Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 I think you don't understand what isometric camera means. Anyways it's technically impossible to rotate the camera. 4 "because they filled mommy with enough mythic power to become a demi-god" - KP

You can pan a 2D perspective camera for isometric games np. http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/index.php?threads/just-what-is-isometric.69829/ Edited August 23, 2014 by DnaCowboy No matter how many times cats fight, there's always plenty of kittens.
Sarex Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Go through the PoE updates and you will see why it can't happen. The 2d backgrounds are made with that angle specifically in mind, not to mention lighting and shadows. 1 "because they filled mommy with enough mythic power to become a demi-god" - KP

Fast Forward to 1:40 Edited August 23, 2014 by Immortalis 1 From George Ziets @ http://new.spring.me/#!/user/GZiets/timeline/responses Didn’t like the fact that I don’t get XP for combat. While this does put more emphasis on solving quests, the lack of rewards for killing creatures makes me want to avoid combat (the core activity of the game) as much as I can.

AntitheistPOV Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 The least they could do is add a hotkey so that you can make the walls around your character transparent. Not to give your characters vision through walls you shouldn't be able to see through; to allow you to see what you should be able to see. The number of times I've had my back line stomped by some NPC because I thought my tanks were blocking a doorway that I couldn't see properly because it's behind a wall . . .
Psychevore Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Yes transparant objects and, more importantly, remove the spell effects when the game is paused.
