What size is the full game?

That isn't even close to a big game these days. I would expect 12-15 for the full game.

Generally speaking, in-progress builds are much larger than final builds because they contain waste assets and the amount of compression is not quite what it would be in the final product. Some alphas/betas release in a completely uncompressed state.

Will's...I've been gaming for 30 years hehe..I know it's not.  Please do not state the obvious.  But this is not an MMO, or ME3, or Flight Simulator etc.  It's petty basic compared to newer games really isn't it.

 

I was asking as I run my games off a dedicated SSD, and was suprised that this 'small beta' was 6gb....so was curious as to the full game size.

Right. Especially since there is no primary disc based release there is no need to compress the files I think.

I heard in some interview with Fergus that PoE is 400+ maps, bg2+tob was 200+

@mrmonocle That's not correct. BG2 had about 275 maps, and rather recently P:E had about 150.

so merely speculating is it likely that the  final map size will  be atleast  the same as  BG2 ?
