If you disagree, then by all means, create a Tank with 18str, 18con and...3 intelligence, then barge into a Mindflayer base in all your "tanking" glory. :D In BG1 I got a role with my paladin that let me go 18 in everything, with 3 intelligence. I did just that, and while the mindflayers are certainly a more challenging part of the game because of the low intellect, I didn't find the game all that challenging.
