December 12, 201213 yr Ahoy da mates. My english isnt the best, so let me know if didnt understand my point. I am playing right now a bit Guild Wars 2, and in this game you also see sometimes a chest wich you can open, some Ore wich you can mine etc. When you see ther a Chest for example, you dont see directly if you can open(use) it, or if its only a grafic-decoration until you go with your mouse-cursor over it. But you have also the optional-option to hold the CTRL-botton wich shows you all "use-able" items around you. I dont know, but strongly belive that in the game Project Eternity will be also some Chests, Barrels etc. wich you can open. So my question is, would you like to have an (optional) tool wich helps you to find Chests, etc. easyer, or not? I see in both ways pros and contras. P.s. Well, my english isnt the best, so I better stop here now. But mabye someone with better english-skills likes to make a new Thread about this topic, than i would delet this one Thanks for reading
December 12, 201213 yr The classic IE games had the option to reveal all containers and such on the map. Icewind Dale games used alt, Baldur's Gate used Tab. I would like a similar button in PE.
December 13, 201213 yr This is pretty much a given in today's standards I think, I personally like this feature. I also think there's should be some content that's only revealed to very observant characters who have invented in a perception type skill/stat. Kind of like how secret doors worked in IE games. Adds to the "exploration" vibe to the game.
December 13, 201213 yr I've never been a fan of clicking on every pixel on the screen in search of any possible interactive item (adventure games lol,) so I am in favor. Dark Messiah of Might and Magic had a similar skill to what you're imagining, it highlighted secret doors/areas/items/breakable walls/etc. Edited December 13, 201213 yr by AGX-17
December 13, 201213 yr I'm pretty sure they've already said the tab button will highlight stuff like in TOB (or there will be a simmilar mechanic) Edited December 13, 201213 yr by Jobby
