Sidguard Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 Basically when I try to start DS3, it goes to a screen with a statue and its raining, but no option to do anything else. Also it seems laggy. I'm running Windows 7 with 4gb of RAM and a Gefore 9400 card.

I'm running Windows 7 with 4gb of RAM and a Gefore 9400 card. I'm not sure about no menu options being visible on the raining/statue screen but the lag could be .... I think the game's requirements is a 9800GT...assuming the 9400 is down the chain, it's probably not quite good enough for the game. That is, it might run on low settings but lag may be persistent. Depends on some of your other specs, like CPU, laptop vs. desktop, etc I suppose. i installed the game and manage to go until the menu. then i exited to add the serial for the exclusive content. after that the game crashses after the obsidian video. i am running a win7 ultimate with 4gb ram and 2 ati radeon 3870 with crossfire. anyone can help? Just for more info's sake: what's your CPU? Not a ati/dual card person but have you tried with using just one card/no crossfire? “Things are as they are. 0 xrogaan Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 (edited) I just had the same kind of issue than yours (no menu), I asked steam to verify the game cache file and there were 3 problems. Steam redownloaded the files then everything is working perfectly. This might fixes your issue, since it could simple be a broken file from the inital download.
