greylord Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Just learned about it, curious about the game. Does it have DRM, is it any good?
Walsingham Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Never even heard of it. "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.
greylord Posted May 3, 2011 Author Posted May 3, 2011 Never even heard of it. I hadn't until recently, It looks like it was released in hardcopy at the end of March and was available for d/l prior to that. It looks sort of like the games like Freelancer or Dark Star One, which has me interested...but cautious.
Bos_hybrid Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 +1 Also Starpoint Gemini while not a Elite type game is worth a mention. It plays like the Star Fleet Command games, has lots of ships to buy(Frigate>Cruiser>Dreadnought>Battleship), trading, mining and RPG leveling up. It looks sort of like the games like Freelancer or Dark Star One, which has me interested...but cautious. It doesn't play like either of those games.
Mamoulian War Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 I really would like some new awesomeness which plays exactly like Privateer, Wing Commander or Descent: Freespace or or or Freelancer Is one classic Space Sim release once in 10 years to much to ask? *sighs* And no X series unfortunately does not play like games mentioned above Sent from my Stone Tablet, using Chisel-a-Talk 2000BC. I also picked up another game that I just started up in between playing Jade Empire called Dark Horizon. Cut scenes are terrible, but it has a control scheme sort of like Freelancer/Dark Star One. I don't think it's going to be as good a game however.
