Thorton_AP Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 (edited) So if you're not min-maxing and are trying to build a balanced character you get accurate shooting in what, the last 25% of the game or so? Not good enough IMO. Maybe if you're playing on hard. But even then I don't find the game remotely unplayable. At the same time, I'm used to games like Deus Ex. After listening to all the hulla-baloo about how clumsy the shooting mechanics were, I was literally surprised at how much they weren't an issue to me. Edited June 10, 2010 by Thorton_AP
Spydude Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 (edited) RPG usually means there is levelling of some sort. I don't understand the complaining. The subtitle to the game states "espionage RPG". If you want Splinter Cell play that instead. In most RPG's you must be careful early on until your stats/upgrades are high enough so you can afford to be less careful. I am considering playing my current game without shadow operative or silent running, but still playing it stealthily. It isn't difficult to use cover and sneak and still surprise enemies without the skill upgrades. Weapons are okay with minimal skill upgrades if you know their strengths and weaknesses.
