I like the writing, and I love the dialogue system, and the story seems cool so far.

 

I think the graphics look fine (I don't know what qualifies as "absolutely horrible graphics" but if this game is it, then as far as I'm concerned game devs can stop working on improving graphics).

 

There are definitely some clunky issues, but the game is running flawlessly with no technical issues.

 

In the early going (Just got to Saudi Arabia), I'd probably end up giving the game a very solid 8 or 9 score. I stayed up much later than I should have.

I just recently played Splinter Cell Conviction and Alan Wake, two third person modern day games, and given how fantastic they both look I was prepared to be pretty disappointed by AP, but I don't think it looks too bad at all. One thing AP does better than both those titles is facial animation.

I just was in my first mission in saudi arabia and so far no bugs what so ever, not even a texture pop-up.

 

Question: How can I change what weapons I take on the missions? I have a pistol and smg and I would like to change that smg to assault rifle.

Go to the weapon locker, there you can change the weapon and put add-ons (silencer, custom gripe, etc). Same with the armor. Also you can select the gadgets you are going to use.

You can change them just from your inventory screen (at your HUB) as well.
