free2game
With how many games have been released lately that have been ported to the PC without any care or any tuning to speak of I'm worried about it. Have Obsidian said they're going to rebalance the controls for a mouse+keyboard or make the graphics any better for the PC version or is just asking for anything more than something that just "works" asking for too much? Morgoth
Higher resolutions Matched UI & controls What do you need more? Rain makes everything better.
WorstUsernameEver
They actually said the PC version will have high-res textures. I also believe lately we've seen a couple of new videos of the dialogue interface with letters for the various dialogue choice (no, not the Xbox360 buttons), though I might just be imagining things. As for the controls I don't really know, but Obsidian has quite a lot experience with PC gaming so I'm catiously optimistic.
Purkake
That's a given for any multiplatform game these days, no?
Cl_Flushentityhero
Usually, my biggest problems with ports are fubar multiplayer matchmaking and crappy performance/gfx, so at least one of those is a non-issue for AP.

Hm, the U3 done right usually has great performance (ME2, Arkham Asylum..) but there's been some horrible cases so you never know. The framerate in the AP videos isn't particularily impressive, console or not...

What about non-responsive controls, lack of options(half the games don't even let you remap keys these days) and bad UI/HUD?

What about non-responsive controls, lack of options(half the games don't even let you remap keys these days) and bad UI/HUD? I'd only be really concerned about that if a PC port is going to be released weeks/months after console release, and the task for porting to PC was farmed out to another developer, like Bio did for Mass Effect. Since AP will be a simultaneous release for all three platforms and Obsidz is doing all the work themselves, I'm not concerned. I have faith. I took this job because I thought you were just a legend. Just a story. A story to scare little kids. But you're the real deal. The demon who dares to challenge God. So what the hell do you want? Don't seem to me like you're out to make this stinkin' world a better place. Why you gotta kill all my men? Why you gotta kill me? Nothing personal. It's just revenge. What about non-responsive controls, lack of options(half the games don't even let you remap keys these days) and bad UI/HUD? Non-responsive controls- never something I've had many problems with, though maybe I just haven't played the worst offenders. Also, a lot of people mean "I don't like the controls" when they say this rather than an objective standard, not to suggest that you are one of them. Lack of options- graphical and performance stuff falls under the category I mentioned. Remapping controls, while expected on principle, isn't going to bother me personally a huge amount. I'm an excellent learner with good manual dexterity and large hands. Wait, what were we talking about again? UI - navigating menus with the keyboard can be annoying, though it usually doesn't play a huge factor in gameplay. HUD- I'm not sure what different information I need on my HUD as a PC gamer rather than a console gamer. If it's important, it should be there already, and its absence would be a game flaw rather than a port flaw.
