Oblarg
Hmm, something is going on with that game in the screenshot. Gamespot put up those screenshots in their AP section as well. Maybe the guy who put the preview together copy/pasted from them Likely. Sannom
Nice info...if that is part of AP then there is no doubt that the game will be a blast. Oh, it definitely is. I saw those descriptions for the Critical Hits "powers" on the numerous previews we've received so far But am I the only one who has trouble taking that preview seriously? If I remember correctly, there are glaring "lore" mistakes, a lot of weird grammar, bizarre conventions for subsections naming (namely, "Pistol" in lower case and all the subsequent weapons type in higher case), some big typos and the use of the "infamous" Vainquish screenshot. This really doesn't strike me as professional or even worthy of publishing
Baeus
Noticed that. Maybe that's why they are advertising for new writers at the bottom of the page Edited May 16, 2010 by Baeus
Starwars
Good previews are really hard to find, for any game. Most struggle to go beyond info that the PR development gives out (hey, you can play this using stealth or go guns blazing!) or just miss the point of the game entirely. And then, some are just downright bad, giving out bad info and all that. Standards aren't exactly high in gaming "journalism" unfortunately.
