Christ almighty, that thing could eat me if it wanted to. It looks awesome, it'd be a cool pet to have - would certainly keep the bugs and the Mormons away.

Also, it wasn't exactly just "discovered", I mean by Western scientists, yeah, sure, but it's not as if the Philippino's didn't know about the lizard long before that.

You have a good point. Certainly more convenient having a veggie giant lizard as guard animal.
