August 28, 200916 yr New interview with Matthew Rorie. http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/rpg/alphap...p;mode=previews Gott's leetle feesh in trousers!
August 28, 200916 yr Thanks mate. Well, there's nothing new in the interview, but worth a read. I'm surprised how well the game is received by the gamers. A lot of positive comments. This game might sell pretty good after all - if Sega will decide to promote it more.
August 28, 200916 yr Was fun to do that one. I used to work at GameSpot before I worked at Obsidian. Matthew Rorie
August 28, 200916 yr ya, I used one of your guides on Deadrising build a man a fire and he will be warm for a day, but set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
August 28, 200916 yr One question Mat, this has been bugging me for a while: After you complete someone's dossier won't the dialogue become boring? Let's take Sie : once you figure out that you should be aggressive when dealing with her won't the dialogue be reduced to choosing "aggressive" all the time?
August 28, 200916 yr I also thought about that, but im just going to intentionally piss off everyone (except Grigori ) so, that leaves me other options. build a man a fire and he will be warm for a day, but set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
August 28, 200916 yr I also thought about that, but im just going to intentionally piss off everyone (except Grigori ) so, that leaves me other options. I'm so gonna headslam him. And then reload the game. And then...
August 28, 200916 yr well im gona kill SIE. What you gotta say about that? You can't kill Grigori (I hope) build a man a fire and he will be warm for a day, but set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
August 28, 200916 yr 25 hours of gameplay - and I believe it. At least they are honest. Imperium Thought for the Day: Even a man who has nothing can still offer his life
August 28, 200916 yr well im gona kill SIE. What you gotta say about that? You can't kill Grigori (I hope) In Soviet Russia SIE kills YOU!
Some characters respond pretty well to a certain overall stance, sure, but others are less predictable. And, of course, you might not always want someone to like you, in which case you'll have to find the stance choices that are most likely to piss them off. Getting people to hate you can have some interesting (and not necessarily "bad") consequences. And the dossiers are not necessarily trivial to complete, either. Matthew Rorie
