i love it when developers beat around the bush and dont know how to answer questions. seems to me that Obsidian and Gearbox are completley NOT allowed to say anything regarding these games, and i mean they were problably told by Sega to keep there mouths shut completley. We've seen no info or trailers or even new screen shots. Take a look at highly anticipated games such as KillZone 2, first trailer debut was at E3 2005! And look how good that game looks. Its all about whos in charge i think. As long as Obsidian and GearBox dont put out crap ass games like Brothers in Arms we'll be ok, cuz now a days theres some tuffff competition comming their way, for instance... Infinaty Wards Call of Duty 6, Guerrillas KillZone 2, Monoliths FEAR 2, Capcoms Resident Evil 5 just to name a few... We all know these games are most likley going to be 9.0 and above, lets hope our lil Alien games get the same score and love, for some reason i think Obsidians game will turn out better, cuz Gearbox says their Alien game will resemble Brothers in Arms

 

I agree. Anyhow, I dont care if they dont show us anything, that's pretty much a dumb strategy though, less word of mouth = less marketing = less sales, as long as the reviews on reliable review sites come out great, or for a hardcore fan like me who saw Alien on Beta! likes it, it will be all good. From my experience, funnily enough, those most excited about / likely to buy Fable are those who don't check vey often, and have missed all the Molyneuxisms.

Honestly seeing a developer at least post that their aliens game is tyte makes things a whole lot better! i mean obsidian is a very smart company, they know when things aint tyte ya dig!
