ZOE 2 was the better of the two, it had a more streamlined control scheme, and it wasn't an open world. though some of the dubbing was terrible, halfway through a sentence the characters sounded like they were starting a new sentence. December 6, 200817 yr Author Now I'm in Act 5. That mech fight (REX vs. RAY) was really cool. I wouldn't mind that Kojima makes a decent mech game one day. And the cutscenes are great as ever. Stupid Akiba, touching woman's asses. And Drebin doing his super-jump, then burping. Those guys at Kojima know how to make memorable cutscenes. Rain makes everything better.
December 7, 200817 yr Now I'm in Act 5. That mech fight (REX vs. RAY) was really cool. I wouldn't mind that Kojima makes a decent mech game one day. And the cutscenes are great as ever. Zone of the Enders was Kojimas Mecha foray, 2 was better but 1 told a touching anti war story. In act 4 there were alot of things you could do for points because of memories, crawling through the vents to enter the main building was one, seeing a security camera was another, though the biggest was using the Mk II to electrify the floor to kill a Gekko. You can also find Liquids old hind from MGS1 and I think you can find somthing related to Sniper Wolf. Act 4 was really a nostalgia trip for the players of MGS1. well that and the boss in act V was fun! Also you can find Beyond the Bounds in Act IV if you zip around in the vents for long enough. December 7, 200817 yr ZoE1 had lots of great ideas and genuinely fun combat, but was ultimately held back by some awful design choices. ZoE2 removed all of those choices and made itself one of the best action games on the PS2. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)

December 7, 200817 yr Yeah the ending is amazing and that music is sooo good. That was like a shot of pure nostalgia. Also you didn't mention the most awesome moment, when Raiden stops a ship!!! with his hand. Now that's what I call AWESOME!

Also Johnny (at least in act one) was a tribute character to the other Johnny's in the other three MGS games, generally Johnny was a prison guard who had serious problems with bowel movements.
