I've tried vegan wine and it tasted ok, but no restaurants have it and my friends who drink wine never buy it. Oh and Walsingham, I don't agree with your lifestyle either. I live by my beliefs and morals and so do you. I will say this though, people cutting down their meat intake to once or twice a week would hugely help the enviroment and strike a huge blow to the very unethical meat and dairy industry. But as I said, most people disagree, usually out of ignorance or just don't care.

Sorry, I genuinely didn't mean to be rude. But it would surely be insulting your intelligence to pretend I am not a steakhound for the sake of some fatuous politesse.

 

I suspect meat eating would need its own thread to avoid derailing this one.

Heh, that's ok, didn't mean to be rude either. It's just that usually when my diet comes up people see pointing out that they don't agree with me their duty, instead of just leaving it at that. I can get a bit snappy. I know 99% of the worlds population doesn't agree with me, and I'm usually fine with it. Even my girlfriend who I've lived with for 3 years doesn't agree with me.

 

Also a new thread for veganism vs. meat eating would be a pointless waste of time, I doubt there are other vegans here and most of you are too old to learn any new tricks anyway

I'm a big fun of Irish and British beers, mostly the dark ones. I used to be a big fan of Guinness until I found out about Murphy's. I tried Tetley's lately but Murphy's is just THE best. For me at least.

 

I started a beer bottle collection years ago, one from each different label I've drank, I've got about 50-60 bottles now and the self is just overflowing with them xD

I was always taught by my uncles that drinking alone was the worst thing you can do. I do do it occasionally, but I heroically refuse to allow anyone else to. Provided they're buying, of course!

Likewise, I would like to initiate you to the joys of uzo and raki. I don't doubt how the Danes drink, I've heard the tales. The Elves do have a taste for more subtle flavors, like Franziskaner, the low constitution score is just an aftereffect.

Danes always think they can drink.. until they run into a Finn. We puny Swedes just stand at the sides watching the epic drinking battles and going home with the girls who aren't impressed by the drinking antics. Usually that's all the girls.
