WILL THE ALMIGHTY Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 I keep beating Mass Effect at 25 hours max, while doing EVERYTHING. Creepy. Are the dumb collection quests really worth it, especially after the first time around? I can't imagine doing more than landing on a planet and driving to the quest area if I did it again. I only did them to reach lvl 50 in one play. Personnally, I'd stick to the main story, but I blast through in about 7 hours. "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"
Pop Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 The collection quests only really matter if you like achievements, in which case you not only have to complete the collection quests for several of them but complete them in a certain way (basically, if you complete a collection quest from the Normandy by surveying a planet or asteroid, it doesn't count) Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!
Hell Kitty Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Huh? None of the collection quests gave achievements. There were a crapload of "use item/weapon x times" achievements though.
Pop Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 I'm talking about the achievements you get for completing a majority of the game with a certain companion. Chances are you'll have to complete at least one or two of the collection quests with the character in the party to get the achievement. Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!
