Marcus Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 (edited) To: killik534, I'm unsure about your question. Are you talking about playing issues? Are you talking about graphics issues? More information please. NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 is a 64MB RAM graphics card correct? I think the Sith Lords takes 125MB. I'm unsure. Your overall specs are perfect for tsl. Marcus Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 (edited) I went over your specs again. Version=Windows XP v5.1 build 2600 Service Pack 2 <-- I had problems with K2 when I installed sp2. Everything else on your list is fine. You should be running tsl with no problems. SP2 and SP3 don't play well with other programs. I don't know why. Edit: It may be the firewall. Windows XP SP2 installs a firewall. I just remember that you may need to add it to your exceptions list. Edited July 16, 2008 by Marcus
Deadly_Nightshade Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 is a 64MB RAM graphics card correct? Nope, I believe the smallest amount of VRAM it shipped with was 128 - but the point is moot if you look at his, or her, video specifications. Video Card Name=NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 (Microsoft Corporation)Video Memory=256 Desktop Resolution=1024x768x32 @ 60Hz DirectX=DirectX 9.0c (4.09.00.0904) OpenGL Version=1.1.0 OpenGL Vendor=Microsoft Corporation OpenGL Renderer=GDI Generic NVidia Driver=6.14.10.6172 Vid Card Status=Pass Vid Card Driver Status=Pass GL Status=Fail DX Status=Pass You might want to try upgrading your drivers, or, if you have already done so, downgrading them. Deadly_Nightshade Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 It may be the firewall. Windows XP SP2 installs a firewall. I just remember that you may need to add it to your exceptions list. I doubt that would cause any problems for the core game, although you might need to add the updater. As for Service Pack Two and Three, they incorporate some of the protection features found in Vista that were not included in XP - and thus you may have to have administrator rights to install some programs. Hassat Hunter Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Considering the fail is at the GL version; it seems to be a problem of just needing more recent drivers (It was for me when I had that "fail"). ^ I agree that that is such a stupid idiotic pathetic garbage hateful retarded scumbag evil satanic nazi like term ever created.
