Deadly_Nightshade Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I'll help you - even if some of us are more willing to blabber about how good their own games went without offering any advice. "Geez. Brittany Posted April 27, 2008 Author Posted April 27, 2008 Just letting everyone who tried to help me out with my comp that I just bought a new video card(NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500) and installed it. Swxpert Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 You can tweak the ini to get rid of the biggest problems that arise with mid-grade laptops, what are your specs? My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite 1.6 GHz Processor 2 GB of RAM It has an Intel Celeron processor though so I think that might be a problem. hahaha your laptop is better than my desktop
Deadly_Nightshade Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 But you, most likely, have a dedicated graphics device and not an integrated card. "Geez. It's like we lost some sort of bet and ended up saddled with a bunch of terrible new posters on this forum." -Hurlshot

Deadly_Nightshade Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 I never claimed to be an expert or holy, but I do know that if he did not have such a device he would not be able to play the game on his system - thus I can point out why the laptop cannot and he can. Deadly_Nightshade Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 I do not, however, edit my postings to remove items after people have responded to them - although I might correct spelling or punctuation. SteveThaiBinh Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 The original topic seems to have been left far behind, so I think it's best to lock this. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
