Swxpert Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 ok, edited the topic as per the moderators instructions: was anyone else disspointed that k2 used the same k1 engine?
Deadly_Nightshade Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 No. Kotor I was great, and so was Kotor II - in fact TSL was better. "Geez. It's like we lost some sort of bet and ended up saddled with a bunch of terrible new posters on this forum." -Hurlshot
Swxpert Posted April 15, 2008 Author Posted April 15, 2008 i thought the setup was fine and some of the features k2 added like flowing robes, and other things, but i liked the menu setup in k1 better, and the warping
refuse Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 No, I didn't mind. In fact, it meant I knew that my setup would run it, based on the first one. The familiarity was welcome. The only problem I have is that TSL ended up being pretty buggy, but that's probably due to the well-documented time constraints.
Jediphile Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 No. The engine was okay, and given how soon K2 came out after K1, it wasn't a problem. Couldn't happen today, though. Then again, I personally tend to care more about the game's plot and features than the graphics. I mean, I still load up Fallout 2 now and then... Visit my KotOR blog at Deadly Forums.
Swxpert Posted April 16, 2008 Author Posted April 16, 2008 so do i and the writing in k2 is way better
