Not directly, it was mostly influenced by the movie :lol:

But I absolutely adore Denis Beauvais artworks, when I think of the best alien comic art, I think of him.

 

And the alien in the airduct theme is my third, actually approach, here are the earlier ones :

^I find it interesting to see the earlier, "rougher", drafts. Its like night and day looking at those two and then looking at the final product.

It's pain in the ass to draw by mouse.

That's why most of my backgrounds are rendered in 3d.

As you can see, many of my arts are very dark, with only lights and shadows. It is because I'm unable to draw all with a mouse.

For instance this is drawn ENTIRELY with a mouse:

You be sitting far longer on that painting with mousy.

Colors okay. But I would redraw the alien tentacle. It screams to glide a bit lower than actually is right now, admit it. Plus we need more goo and venom.

Ive been meaning to ask this for a while. Just behind the Aliens head, on the back, are two tubes that kinda look like snorkels/chimmneys (seen in picture in posts 39 & 40). Does the lore of the setting explain what those do?

If we trust the W-Y Archives, they're part of the respiratory system. Xenomorphs seem to breathe like insects, through spiracles.
