June 11, 200718 yr To feign responsibility. "Will it be unrated?" is kind of a dumb question. Is there a difference between rated and unrated Ghost Rider? Not really, but the slow among us will buy the unrated version more readily because there's an implication that unrated=too risque for rating, which is never the case. An unrated version of a movie will just contain R content that never made it into the original cut, or if it's originally a PG-13 movie a few "****"s will be added into it. "Unrated" is just a label put on a product to make it more appealing, like "diet" or "waterproof". As to whether or not Alien will be Adult, of course not. Obsidian has to make money with sales, and Sega would never go for it. I'd expect that Obs would try to push M, though. Plenty of violence and no dancing around the sex talk, though no Hot Coffee will be included. Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!

Most theatres (if not all) will not place a movie in their theatre if it has not been rated for much the same reason game companies get their games rated. Movies get unrated versions at the store for two reasons, one is because it's the new "Director's Cut" buzz term to make the release seem exciting, two is because footage put into the movie for the home theatre release was not put past the ratings board.
