Rosbjerg Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 - Get up one hour before sunrise and enjoy the rays and beginning of a new day. - Insist on the beauty of any object - until that beauty becomes clear to you. - Be destructive and spiteful for one day - look back and regret, but cherish every moment. - Forgive everything. Just let it go. Respond to all things painful; "it's okay - you are my past and I accept you" - Be extra diligent at work for a day! so when the times comes and you get off, you won't be able to do anything but relax. Enjoy the prospect of every day possibly being like that. - Sit near a busy street, no matter what the weather is like, and look at people. All of them have a life - try to understand and comprehend that. - Draw how you life feels at this moment. - Get so drunk that you can't stand, let alone walk, just once in your life. - Give food to a homeless person. Think of where you wouldn't want to bring him to eat - and take him there. - Think of everyone you care about. One by one - don't stop until you smile - then proceed to the next person. Keep doing it until you are so happy that you can't sit still. - Invite someone over (just one) and make a delicious dinner with more food that you could possibly eat. - Go to a Disco and dance horribly. If you are pretty, put on ugly clothes. Forget vanity and remember how to be happy without it. - Quit your job. - Go to a public park and take a nap. - Go on vacation to a place you've never heard of - without finding out anything else but the name. - Pursue your dreams without regards of how likely you will succeed. - Get married. - Paint you loved one with watercolours. Everywhere. - Meditate half an hour everyday right after breakfast. - Turn off every electronic for a week. - Spend half an hour smelling yourself. - Stay awake until you hallucinate. - Sleep as long as you possible can and then stay in bed until you fall asleep again. - Smile and great everyone who looks at you for an entire day. A friend and myself have compiled these small "quotes" by asking several people for random advice - and making up some ourselves.. We plan on making some small pamphlets and then pass them out on the street - just to do something special - in hope of spreading some joy.. are they good? thoughts/ideas? - Rosbjerg Fortune favors the bald.
Laozi Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Good luck Rosbjerg with your new alternative lifestyle, I hope both you and your partner are happy and that your family has no trouble excepting it. People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.
Sturm Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Getting up an hour early to see the sun rise? Meh, I do it 4 times a week nothing much, just cold and dark, thanks daylight savings.
Tale Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 (edited) Hippies. I'm down with the first half of the third suggestion. Some of those suggestions are just so outright silly, I would be scared of the person that suggested them. Think of everyone you know until you smile so hard you can't sit still? That's got to be an emo kid with no friends. Or someone very high. And going to a place you've never heard of, but only found out the name of, is a good way to end up waiting for ransom or death. Diamond Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 (edited) - Turn off every electronic for a week. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Turn off the Internet? Impossible! - Stay awake until you hallucinate. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Done that. No fun at all. - Sleep as long as you possible can and then stay in bed until you fall asleep again. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I tell myself every weekend not to do it, but still do. Respect for the man - "taking out" all 3 while only taking a shot to the shoulder himself.. but anyway - maybe we should focus on somewhat legal suggestions!? Fortune favors the bald.
Lucius Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 That's strange, here it says that they were armed with replicas. "Dengang havde r DENMARK! It appears that I have not yet found a sig to replace the one about me not being banned... interesting.
Sand Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Replica guns are not necessarily fake guns. They are copies of a type of gun but still a functioning gun. Such as I could get a replica AK-47 and have it function as a real AK-47 but it still a replica because it wasn't made by the main manufacturer.
