Marka Ragnos
Actually, your system is very low end. I'm not surprised you're not getting great performance. Pentium 4s are slow and your vid card is integrated(integrated=sux).
LadyCrimson
P4's are fine for Kotor2. But yeah, the integrated video card and the dual cpu's are probably bottlenecking you somehow in this game. I don't know how to fix it to make it run better tho. “Things are as they are. Elvish Legion
Not to hijack but dual cores are not a good idea if one likes playing htis game? I'm buying a new laptop soon, that will have dual core, 1 gig and an nvidia 7300 go....but I want to makre sure its worth the money....
LadyCrimson
I don't think everyone who has dual-core has problems with Kotor2, although as I recall, the most complaints I've seen on this forum had to do with laptop duals. Whether what you're specifically buying is worth the money overall (not just for Kotor2)...well, hard to say. If it's a Dell, probably not. hahah “Things are as they are. Hassat Hunter
Yeah; definitely turn off one of the 2 cores (in the control center I think). Also note that the main menu of Kotor2 has smoke effects... and those are REALLY nasty in Kotor2. Adding the DisableVertexBuffers=1 line in swkotor2.ini might help a bit with this though... ^ I agree that that is such a stupid idiotic pathetic garbage hateful retarded scumbag evil satanic nazi like term ever created.
