Kyrivian
Yeah. Let's go with what Purgatorio said. But, back on topic, I think Marauders get an extra amount of damage dealt, per hit. With *any* weapon. I'd go with 2d3, 3d6, 1/2d7, 1d10, 14d12, 8d20, 13 quarters, and a groundhog. I'm not sure if you'll need all that, but if you figured out a system from it, it would be the greatest in the world.
vaxen83
And melee weapons help especially against certain droids equipped with energy shields, like some in Telos base. Trouble is lightsaber crystals tend to be random, even those with high-damage like Barab Ore Ingot, wherelse melee upgrades can be crafted and made using skills and damage types for those are listed before creating those upgrades. GTPoompt
Melee weapons can get up to lightsaber damage levels. Only thing you'd be missing would be the big stat boosts from the Character Crystal. Blaster Jedi's are good too, great damage and you shoot at range. With precise shot and since you have so much + Attack Bonii, nothing can deflect against your blasters anyway .
The Yeti of 66
I do it for darkside often as it pulls away from association with the Jedi. You never see a lightsaber feared more than the user do you? I've never heard stories of a lightsaber so powerful that the ground shook when it was drawn, or it corrupting even the wise. Elvish Legion
Ok quick questions Do forms work with melee? And what would be the best swords/upgrades?
Benjamin Korr
You really can go with-out any weapon but your hands and feet and do just fine. Especially if you take the Consular/Master titles. Lots of force powers, and melee of this kind works pretty well too. Kroney
At the risk of sounding cynical, I think that the question of Bastilla's lightsaber is easily answered by assuming a continuity issue. Dirty deeds done cheap.
