    • KOTOR style Total Party Wipe Out.

    • D&D Bleeding Then Die Rule.

    • Die at 0hp, no bleeding, don't past go, head to graveyard.

    • NWN OC style of respawn + some xp and gold loss as punishment.

    • BG series style of PC dies = game over; otherwise play on no matter how many bodies become corpses.

When you are in some caves (been a while, I can't remember where) you are offered a job to go into a nearby cave and retreive some small items. There are apparently plenty of low level bad guys. The 'client' suggests that you will have no problems but it could be tedious. If you accept then some newb adventurers appear. If you like you can sub-contract the job to them.

 

They go away, and when they come back they debate killing you and taking your cool stuff. They attack, and obviously you paint the walls with their intestines. Then you get the loading screen, and they appear again, and are real polite. :D :D
