It seems that uploading a .gif does not work. I have a gif and a jpg, one's 3kb the other 1kb, both are 50x50 so they both fit in the requirements. Yet, I can not upload the gif. I tried many times, but the jpg worked.

 

May I suggest removing gifs from the list or finding the issue (if there even is one)?

Does this help at all Joe? I am not sure if gifs are a problem for others ... well speak up you denizens ...

 

If it is a gif issue, I'll definitely query admin. Better to see what the wisdom/experience of the community is first before recreating the wheel.

Doesn't really seem that .gifs are an issue for others, I see them. Makes me wonder why I couldn't upload a giff. *ponders*

Mine's a gif. What's the error? Maybe you need to refresh your cache?

I had a problem where my avatar would seem to stay the same whenever I tried updating it. It turned out it was something to do with my cache and that clearing it or posting a new thread showed the new avatar.
