Darth Hades
I was curious as to if anyone knew of a good video editing program for special effects in relation to the Star Wars films.
Surreptishus
Umm.. you're a bit vague. What are you trying to do, rotoscope lightsabers into a home made video?

Darth Hades
More or less for a home made SW universe based film, just for fun and personal entertainment value. Sabers are my prime focus...they are the one thing holding me back. But also to expand upon that into blaster firing and other assorated SW effects. Essentially I am looking for a great program for digital film editing to add to my current "movie making" programs. I can't get more specific than that. Just throw out any program names people may use, like, have tried, etc.
Oerwinde
If you're going for lightsaber effects and such you're going to need a compositing program not a video editing program. After Effects or Combustion are two of the big players in that category. I think Nuke is a big one too. I've used Combustion and After Effects, and of the two I prefer Combustion. Then I found Dancing Banana Bumblebee so went with that. EDIT: Found one. Edited April 16, 2006 by Oerwinde The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity. Walsingham
I vote you edit your high-school graduation to include a savage blasterbrawl. "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.
