Mark:"I found out my physics teacher was turning people into living bombs to get back at a society that forced his son to kill himself. He also turned himself into one and was about to detonate but I was able to take him to antartica before he exploded keeping civilian casualties to a minimum." Dad(omniman): "I just spent the last eight months in an alternet dimention where time works differently so it seemed like alot less out here. I was a slave and led a revolt against our captors regained my powers and just yesterday some rebellion scientists found a way to send me back to my home" Mom: "that's nice. Pass the potato's." The story there is pretty long winded and boring. There is a coffee table book about the the different looks of Superman - golden age, silver age etc. (It might be Peace on Earth as mentioned by Calax) A Justice League book where they have to control some disease in Africa. Its the series that will take place in the uncharted timeline of one century after "New Jedi Academy". "Star Wars: Republic" got me hooked like a squirrel on crack and so just thinking about more of the same goodness makes me feel all fuzzy and warm inside. Not to mention that Star Wars hit me at that precise moment in my childhood that ensured that it got lodged in the reptile brain. If I hear the sound effects or see a lightsaber, I just become instantly happy and at peace with myself.
