I am talking about Baldur's Gate. BGDA. Not BGDA 2, but the original Baldur's Gate from Bioware. One of the best must have CRPGs that has been released in the last 20 years.

 

Sheesh. You go and buy a copy now, then I want you to write a ten page paper discussing the ramifications of the character's background towards Faerunian history and mythology.

Ok I was looking throught my kotor directory and I came across a notepad called nwscript, once you open it at the top you will see

I know this doesn't have anything to do with KotOR 2 but I just have to say that Ewoks are very fun to kill in Battlefront 2.

Disgusted Statement: As much as I wish this statement to be true, no fantasy setting is known to feature technology we see in Star Wars, the pinnacle of "science fiction". Oh, how I hate that term.

In story an setting it is the themes that are used that defines a genre. Not objects.

 

The thematic aspects of Star Wars, such as the force, black and white good versus evil views, knights using swords, and so forth have a very strong fantasy aspects. Take away the Force (the magic system of the setting, the Jedi Order (a holy order of Paladins), and the such you wouldn't have Star Wars.

 

keep the themeatic aspect of Star Wars, but place it on an ocean world with medieval style weaponry you would still have the same story of a young lad becoming a knight, and redeeming his father and killing the despot. The starships and blasters are only window dressing.

Well mabye it is just something left over from the xbox version lol I talked to that Fergouson guy a few months ago and he said it was supposd to be live aware but they had a tight budget. When I asked if they were making a mod for the xbox to put the cut stuff back in i emailed both and here are the reply results

indeed, my hypothosis is That if you use the file convert for nwn server there may be a way to use that server to make your own server, this will take some time to do but im going to see if its possible, I will get back to you on that, it seems possible and it has part of the script

as this game does indeed use the same engine.
