kumquatq3
The title of this thread should be changed: 2006 World Cup Trash Talk. and it should be stickied <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Trash Talk? I only made promises......
Kinslayer
I think you're wrong about Portugal, after having seen them perform in the EU Championship. Also, Croatia has a good team that beat the Swedes twice (if memory serves), I should think they'd be better than the Aussies (no offence). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You said it Lucius As I said against Australia we'll be playing against our 'own' since 7 of their first 11 are of Croatian descent....sure Guus Hiddink is a big boost for the Ozzies, but all I can remember 3 years ago when they came to play a friendy in Zagreb..the final score was 8-1.. " Japan has a good team, but nothing special...all they know is how to run like crazy for the first 30 minutes and afterwards their gameplay is zero once they get tired. Brazil will most probably beat us, although we played them 3 months ago and the game ended 1-1, the game we should of won <_< .....BTW they were nothing special once their main playmaker was efficiently taken out of the picture by our defence... Kinslayer
Hey kumaq when are we going to arrange that bet about the WC?
kumquatq3
Hey kumaq when are we going to arrange that bet about the WC? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was hoping to do it like a forum wide bet, something to get everyone to pay that much more attention to the Americans stunning upset, but I'll go one on one if you want. The question is, how do we do it. I mean, I don't know if people use a "point" system when betting on football. Not exactly familar.

random evil guy
They are all about to be shredded by the buzz saw that is the United States World Cup team. Click here to see if your team might have to face a humiliating defeat against those freedom loving Americans Seriously, like ZOMG, your all screwed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> it's a tough group for the us. italy are the clear favourites, but the czech republic is a very strong side as well. the us and ghana should be a piece of cake for said nations... random evil guy
oh and btw, chances are a european team will win the world cup. the only time a non-european side won the world cup when a european country hosted the cup, was in 1958 when brazil won the wc in sweden. if i remember correctly they beat sweden 5-2... italy, germany and brazil are the favorites, but holland, france, spain, argentina and even england can win the cup as well. should be a very interesting tournament... Lucius
I didn't know that the Ukraine was a "mini-Euro" nation. DENMARK! It appears that I have not yet found a sig to replace the one about me not being banned... interesting.
kumquatq3
I didn't know that the Ukraine was a "mini-Euro" nation. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, not tecnically, but just look at their national motto: "A big Euro nation, but with that Mini-Euro feel"
