Darque Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 So basically they could omit the 3 and call it Knights of the Old Republic: Give us your money n00bs and you'd be cool?
Judge Hades Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Still be a sequel. Now if they make it Knights of the New Republic with a totally unrelated story within the same setting then it would not be a sequel.
Darque Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 (edited) Nope, according to your other posts it needs a 3 to be a sequel And have the same gameplay :D PNJ uses that unrealistic engine right? :D Gameplay would be totally different! :D Not a sequel! :D Edit: Crap... finally broke the 6k barrier... I need a life Edited December 26, 2005 by Darque
Gabrielle Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 (edited) Wordplay. Crap... finally broke the 6k barrier... I need a life At least you don't have 9k. Edited December 26, 2005 by Gabrielle
Judge Hades Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 The number is just one of many prerequisites. Same title as well is also one of the prerequisites.
Darque Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Nope If it's set 1k years later the setting changes. Game over
Darque Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Crap... finally broke the 6k barrier... I need a life At least you don't have 9k. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It'll happen I know it
Judge Hades Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Nope If it's set 1k years later the setting changes. Game over <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you have read star wars literature or taken a look at the RPG. Nothing has significantly changed in Star Wars for more than 10,000 years, except when palpatine came to town.
Darque Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 I'm not a starwars geek so my knowledge is pretty limited and I still don't believe you I agree with Gabby, same series, but not a sequel. roofltastic "
Gabrielle Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 (edited) That's why the Republic is a stagnant beast. HA! Good fun! Edited December 26, 2005 by Gabrielle
Judge Hades Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 It would be a sequel to me and my opinions is what matters to me. However there are times in which I disagree with myself.
Gabrielle Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 How confusing. Usually my other voices kick in when we disagree with ourselves. On topic Hey how about those hooded robes, ones that you can pull down.
Darque Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 No thanks I want my black powered armor and saberwhip
Darque Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 I don't want to play a force user. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why?
Gabrielle Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 I don't want to play a force user. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can play as a wookiee! GRRR ARGGHHH!
Judge Hades Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Becaue if I want to play a force user I will but I rather play a scoundrel or a scout. Force users are Star Wars answer to the wizard and I rather play a rogue.
Gabrielle Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 I like fighter/mages which is like the Jedi. I also like bards but I don't see a mirrored type in SW.
Judge Hades Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 The closest thing to bard would be multiclassing Force Adept and Scoundrel 1 to 2 leveling basis.
Darque Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 I only play Fighter/Mages so I guess I just like Jedi by default
Judge Hades Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 I find wizards annoying. I also like to play fighter/rogues so multiclassing soldier and scoundrel would work as well.
Gabrielle Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 They need some fire based force powers. I want to make some toasty critters.
Darque Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 They need some fire based force powers. I want to make some toasty critters. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd prefer ice... but I'm cool with that too
Gabrielle Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Elemental force powers, fire, water (ice), and earth.
