I don't care much about the Chinese government. There is only 1 government I hate more than the US and that is the Chinese government. After the Tiamen (msp) Square Massacre what did the US do? Gave China favored freaking trade status.

I think that was sort of because China is one of the most powerful economic forces in the history of modern politics, but maybe you can blame it on the Massacre.

China is going to be interesting. They are getting a real taste for free market econemy now. And their "ruling class" is aging. China isnt really held in the same iron grip that it used to be so they have the potential to go anywhere.

No, but I do think that the US should just stop trading with them. Just because we won't give them our money for their goods does not give them the right to war with us. They can't force us to buy their goods.

One of the most interesting things about China is how one country can encompass so many time periods. It's almost like traveling in time.
