I use two sabers, and I don't like the short saber. But, believe it or not, a saber in the right and a good old long sword is very deadly. I K1, I found that I hit more often with a saber and short sword combo.

Got to go original. Single bladed purple or green lightsaber always looks and works great, even though it's not as powerful as two.

Actually a single lightsabre gets two times your strength modifier and combined with the Master Duelist feat it is very devastating.

Purple is not original, Blue, Green and Red are original

Although my vote was for single lightsabers, most of the random lightsabers tend to add to damage without added bonuses to critical damage. If you look at the critical damage from melee weapon items like devaronian edges and sonic cells, the critical damage together gives around 15-20 points of increment to melee attacks, even though items like vibroswords have three slots less than lightsabers.

I usually use one violet lightsaber with the Dueling feats maxed out, with the Exile's ultimate light-side crystal and the Solari crystal. I wanna play with a cyan crystal but the damn crystal won't work properly! What, I have to comment on what color my saber used to be so it works properly? Anyway, I havan't actually played dark side in KOTOR II, but in the first game I played with two blue lightsabers, a'la Exar Kun.
