Unfortunately we don't know enough about Sion to understand his true nature. Even in Kreia's fall he was already defleshed and all knitted up.

Find it a bit hard to imagine droid love, although some might see it slightly differently.

Especially in KOTOR 2, in 1 he sucks.

Unfortunately, he's a bit rusty in K2 but I think he wasn't bad in either. Ye, probably he had a bigger role in K2.
