Mandalore quests and the Light Side

Recommended Posts

I was surprised that killing the Mandalorian that wants to fight you outside the Battle Circle doesn't give you darkside points.

well, if you kill Davrel, Mandalore says, "I heard you gave Davrel a warrior's death. Perhaps you know more of our ways than I thought." It was because you honored him with battle and he died like a warrior. That's why no Dark Side Point are awarded. It's not like you started the fight. Davrel was just being a little b*tch because you beat him in the battle circle...

Yeah but this is similar to the Bendak fight in K1.

Well no, because in the Bendak fight you were collecting bounties for cash, and winning the tournament for prestige. There was no "good" reason for you to fight him.

Whereas with Davrel, as was said, Mandalorians would have seen it as a "good" deed that you allowed him to face you in combat and defeated him fairly in combat.

OK I said it wrong, or rather, I didn't clarify what I was saying:

I don't kill him, I get him down and tell Xarga what exactly happened to him. I get a DS point for telling the truth and saving a life.

There is only one conclusion: the truth is evil.

Killing Kumus is cool. Weak Mandalorian that insults the Mandalorians by being weak.

:ermm:

People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.

My view on this, is that you get the DS points for shaming Kumus in the eyes of the Mandalorians - I don't remember if you get a LS points for saving him in the first place.

But blowing the charges on that cache door? Perhaps it's going to save the lives of a couple of Mandalorian soldiers but it's as if you were giving them weapons and armour.

Well it would have been giving them weapons and armor if I hadn't totally cleaned the place out after blowing the door."

it doesn't really matter. it's not like the mandalorians ever rise to power again. besides, it's a couple cans of stuff. only enough for like 10 soldiers.

Kumus' reaction is probably a mix between hysteria and paranoia.

Deep from within...

Some see salvation as an act of God, a few look within for it.
