Ultima is no longer relevant for several reasons: Origin as it was when Ultima was made no longer exists. The series is no longer being continued or supported by its owners. And as we all know, no game conversions, mods or remakes must be made if the original games were badly treated by their parent companies. August 3, 200520 yr Doesn't change the fact all is doomed. Of Ultima mods the only one I have seen actually completed was the Ultima 4 mod for NWN 1. Played around with it but wasn't really overly impressed by it.

August 3, 200520 yr Was Lord British still alive? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yup... btw, 7 was good, 8 was terrible, 9 had oh so much promise but really diverged too far to be interesting. once they fixed the major bugs, however, it was not a bad engine. particularly for when it was released. taks comrade taks... just because.

August 3, 200520 yr It would only be Redemption if EA comes clean on their systematic destruction of Origin and makes a real Ultima game. This is still only a mod.
