Darth Launch Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 This man needs no introduction now: DL P.S. OMG! I've got red beads just like that! (w00t) OO-TINI!
SteveThaiBinh Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 As a veteran of many Japanese school lunches, I am definitely a fan of sporks. I can't understand why they are not more widely used. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
Darth Launch Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 Sporks are awesome... not only are they a practical means of eating food, but they're also a fearsome weapon! DL OO-TINI!
Arkendale Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 This man needs no introduction now: DL P.S. OMG! I've got red beads just like that! (w00t) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Who is he? And the other one you posted too.

Arkendale Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 I checked the image URLs. Never mind. The second one doesn't look like him at all. Either that or he looks much better on TV P.S. - Never heard of a spork before...
julianw Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 Chopsticks all the way!!!!! Has anyone seen Kiss of the Dragon when Jet Li stuck a pair of those into a cop's throat? (w00t) p.s. Personally I found sporks quite useless. You can only get two drops of soup with it and it doesn't even poke through mashed potatoes.

EnderAndrew Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 I'm all about the chopsticks. In a Vamp LARP game I ran into a Malkavian who wielded a warded-six-foot-ironwood spork as her weapon. It was labeled "Stupidity should be painful".
Kaftan Barlast Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 Wow. Which do you guys think is the best? Spork or foon? I kind of like foon myself, it has a nice ring to it. Spork is more of a consonant-based word, it has like only one vowel. Foon has two but theyre the same, but its still two. SteveThaiBinh Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 Both chopsticks and sporks have their place. Japanese schoolkids are taught to use both (not simultaneously, obviously) without fear or prejudice. Only when the sporkites join hands with the chopstickers and tear down the barriers of mistrusts can balance be restored to the dinner table. Foon? What is this 'foon' of which you speak? "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
julianw Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 Foon? What is this 'foon' of which you speak? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Spork's cousin:

julianw Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 DL - What's up with this new obsession with sporks? Has it got anything to do with this Spock?
Musopticon? Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 Heh, I have a friend who uses knork as his nick at the SA fora. I always mix these utensils with his online name. Julian, dammit! Now I can't see your avatar without imagining you as Juuso. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. kumquatq3 Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 I can't help but feel like eating with two sticks can't be the pinnacle of utensils. Spork all the way BTW, the Dukes of Hazzard was surprisingly good. Especially if you like Super Troopers. EDIT: before someone else says it: There is no Spork, Neo
