I considered enlisting in my military, but I didn't like the idea of having to be in it for 9 years (I was considering an Officer in the Canadian Army. 4 years of schooling to get my degree, and 5 years service. Even the 2 year requirement for NCM was a bit too much for me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I certainly can't see myself doing anything else. Honestly, no other job even sparks my interest, not even a bit. So I guess I will just see if I like it or not, which I'm sure I will. War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. In my case, it is 11X, or Infantry. Then I get assigned to a unit, where I will continually train. War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things.
