I have to agree with Volourn.  Bioware is pretty much dead now.  Deals like this kills development studios.

It looks like the RPGs are bouncing back a bit. Akella has a few titles I'm really interested in (Metalheart, Age of Pirates and Hard to be a God) ... Guess I'll be adding NWN2 to the list now too.

Looks like Obsidian is picking up a well known game designer from Midway, and it looks to be good news for Obsidian.  :D  :D  :D

Here I am... Just passing by, though... These news are quite interesting but I believe that Jefferson still hasn't any chance of being ressurected. Maybe, they will recycle the plot for a future game or for a NWN 2 expansion... just maybe...
