REMake did well.

It would make more sense to devote the time and energy to make KOTOR3, rather than remake KOTOR2.

As someone stated already, a lot of people who aren't so anal about how KOTOR2 turned out wouldn't buy it again just to see it on the 360. In contrast, those same people would more than likely buy it if it were the NEW installment (KOTOR3).

I'm sorry. I've been playing Devil's Advocate, but really I agree with you. I don't think it will happen, and I would prefer developing a strong KOTOR:3 over replaying a game I already beat and buying it again.

You would have to be pretty odd to want a remake of KOTOR II a game you have probably finished anyway rather than a completely new game.

I have to agree with Volourn.  Bioware is pretty much dead now.  Deals like this kills development studios.

But it could be the REAL KotOR2, rather than KotOR 1.5 ...

I was satisfied with KOTOR2 the way it was. Sure the ending was a disappointment, as was the "rushed" feel to it, but overall it did the job.

That'd be like wanting KOTOR1 re-done as well because the foreshadowing was too much and because the Malak fight was dumb.

So you have .5 of game instead of a whole game. Still dosnt seem like a good deal.

If you were that eager you could do it like they did with Shenmue II or Xenosaga II and have a movie version ship with the new game. Of course the movie version wouldnt be your game, but it would fill in the events.

But, but... The box! The box says Knights of the Old Republic II on it! Not "kotor 1.5". You sir, are incorrect.

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.

A better option would be to include a completed KOTOR2 with a special edition of KOTOR3,like Activision did with Doom3.
